Korean Chilli Oil Ramen Bold, Fiery & Slurp-Worthy

Korean Chilli Oil Ramen Bold, Fiery & Slurp-Worthy

If you love spicy Korean flavours, this ramen brings heat, tang and pure comfort in every bite.

Step-by-Step Recipe

1. Boil the base

Boil the noodles in a pot of water until they turn soft but still have a springy bite. Stir once or twice to prevent sticking. Strain and set aside. You can rinse lightly with cold water to stop overcooking and keep the texture firm.

2. Make the sauce

In a bowl, mix 1–2 spoons of Korean Chilli Oil (based on your spice level). Add a splash of soy sauce and a little vinegar. This creates a bold base with heat, tang and a subtle sweetness from the chilli oil. Stir well until smooth.

3. Toss it hot

Heat a pan on medium flame and pour in the sauce. Add the cooked noodles and toss gently, ensuring every strand is coated with the fiery oil and seasoning. Keep the flame medium to warm the noodles without drying them out.

4. Top like a pro

Finish with your favourite toppings: chopped spring onions, sesame seeds, a fried egg for richness, or a little kimchi or sautéed veggies for extra flavour.

Your ramen is ready!
